From the Founder
August Mae started because I wanted jewelry that felt cool without trying too hard. Pieces that feel natural, comfortable, and easy to wear, but still make you feel put together.
I am hands on in every part of the brand, from design and sourcing to the final details. Every material is tested for comfort and real life wear because I wear these pieces daily too. If it does not hold up, it does not belong here.
I have loved animals for as long as I can remember. Long before August Mae existed, caring for animals was already part of my life and something that truly matters to me. That love is personal and it is why giving back is built into the brand from the start.

Cory - Founder
She’s the one doing it all! From designing new pieces and making the jewelry to fulfilling orders, managing inventory, and handling customer service, social media, and marketing, she’s got her hands in everything. Basically, if it’s happening, she’s making it happen, and she wouldn’t have it any other way!
Sadie - Office Security
Sadie has been with us since 2016 and has been a loyal companion through it all, including a long move from New York to Florida and back. Whether she’s out on an adventure or just relaxing, Sadie is always by our side—truly the sweetest and most dependable member of the team.
Frannie - Lap Warmer
Frannie, the fearless rescue cat, is a snuggle enthusiast with impeccable timing. Despite her petite size, she holds her own against her 80-pound big sister, Sadie, with the confidence of a cat who knows she's the boss. When it comes to affection, Frannie doesn’t wait for an invitation—she's always ready for a cuddle, preferably while trying to do something important!
